REMOTE TUTORING SESSIONS

Using Barton Reading & Spelling, I offer remote specialized tutoring, tailor-made for the dyslexic learning style.

Tutoring sessions are 50 minutes of one-on-one intensive instruction, conducted 2 to 4 times per week.

Tutoring may be continued in the summer, by arrangement.

FEES $45 per session

PRESCREENING

All students requesting tutoring with Barton Reading & Spelling participate in a short free screening to determine if the Barton system is a good fit.

PAYMENT METHODS: Online payments are accepted through Zelle and Venmo.

INSTRUCTIONAL DELIVERY

My lessons are conducted remotely via Zoom. I share screen control with the students so they can use the professional tutoring platform, as well as complete their online learning games.

Remote sessions require:

• a computer with a webcam
• a mouse (which works better than a touchpad)
• reliable internet access
• access to Zoom
• a headset with a microphone
• a quiet place to work
• and a supervising adult who is available if technology or other help is needed
